Cool Limpa Bank Card from Nordea

Now, every fan of the soda pig Limpa can win a special Limpa bank card and a start-up bonus by drinking Limpa lemonade.
This is the joint marketing campaign of Nordea Bank and the beverage producer A. Le Coq, holding a daily raffle with the prize of a Limpa bank card with an EEK 1000 start-up bonus. To participate, one has to find the special product code from a lemonade bottle cork. A Nordea card with EEK 10 can be obtained by collecting corks of Limpa Traditional or Krazy Maasikas sodas.
”Nowadays a bank card helps children to learn how to best manage their money. The younger the child learns about banking, the better. It is also important for parents that the child learns the responsibility related to the value of money and respect for the financial limitations of the family.
At the beginning of the school year, it is customary to discuss the amount of pocket money and why shouldn’t it happen on the child’s level, i.e. through a game? Limpa is a character who has already won the hearts of children and we are happy to conduct this campaign together with A. Le Coq,” Reet Kivi, Head of Segment at Nordea Bank Estonia, explained the reasoning behind the campaign.
”Limpa has always made children happy not only with the excellent soda drink but also through his character and outstanding special projects. This cool bank card idea was born in cooperation with the bank and our other cooperation partners,“ Katrin Vernik, A. Le Coq’s Marketing Manager, added.
During the campaign, Nordea Bank will also arrive to the county centres where it is currently not present (e.g. Põlva, Valga, Hiiumaa).
The campaign will last from September 3 to October 22. After that, the Limpa bank card, meant for 7-16-year-olds, can be ordered like any ordinary debit card.
