EUR Savings Account and EUR Child Deposit interest rates to change on January 21

The interest rates for EUR Savings Account and EUR Child Deposit will be changed on January 21. In connection with the drop in the EUR Prime base interest rate from 12 January 2009, all EUR Prime Savings Account interest rates will be lowered by the same amount (0.75 percentage points) from 21 January 2009.
Depending on the deposit amount and the customer’s status in the Silver and Gold Customer programme, the annual euro-based savings account interest will fall between 2.2% and 3.0%.
From January 21, the interest rate for the Child Deposit will be 3%, if deposited in euros and 5.45% if deposited in Estonian kroons.
