Most Nordic Photo Authored by Arnold Kristjuhan
On April 18, Nokia Concert Hall hosted the award ceremony of the Nature Photo of the Year 2010 competition. Nordea Bank’s special prize for the Most Nordic Photo was awarded to Arnold Kristjuhan.
More than 1400 authors submitted over 11 000 photos to this year’s tenth anniversary competition of the Nature Photo of the Year 2010. All entrants can be viewed and commented at http://laf.wavecom.ee.
The jury, presided by Rein Maran, has reached their verdict and at the Sunday gala event prizes of different categories were handed out. Winners of the photo competition received the traditional Dancing Wolves created by ceramist Anne Türni.
The grand prize, the Great Wolf, went to photographer Mats Kangur.
Nordea’s traditional special prize for the Most Nordic Photo was given to Arnold Kristjuhan whose photo lens caught a grey heron on a lake covered with spring ice.
