Operation principles
The Solo electronic banking software can be applied in both small and large companies - it can be used at a single workstation as well as within the computer network. The software can have several users, and it enables to establish different user levels. The program enables to administrate several companies at a time, and can thus be successfully applied in accounting companies, for instance. The Solo electronic banking software is available in Estonian, Finnish, English, Swedish, Latvian and Lithuanian. The register of payment recipients has been applied in order to facilitate the process of making payments.
The software also enables to transfer payment files from the accounting program directly to the Solo program. The Solo electronic banking software is compatible with most of the accounting programs currently used in Estonia.
Payments
All domestic payments sent to the bank before 14:00 will be transferred on the same banking day. Later payments will be transferred the next banking day. Domestic and international payments will be processed on an hourly basis between 9:00 and 17:30.
Connection
You can use the direct Internet connection or the Dial-Up connection via the modem in order to establish a connection to the bank. For security reasons, the security code used for the bank connection will be changed on a regular basis. The bank will check the authorisation of the client on the basis of the security code. The security level of the program corresponds to the standards established by the Finnish Bankers' Association.
Technical requirements
Software:
- Operating system - Windows 98 or later edition (Win 2000, Win XP recommended)
Hardware:
- Processor: Intel Pentium or equal (Pentium 4 recommended)
- RAM (operative memory): 64 MB or more (128 MB recommended)
- HDD (hard disk): 60 MB of free space for installing the complete package
- 40 MB of free space for installing Solo BE
- Video: VGA or higher (800x600; 16K colours recommended)
- Input devices: MS Windows compatible keyboard and mouse
- Printer: MS Windows compatible printer (laser printer recommended)
- Connection: Modem-based Dial-Up or TCP/IP direct connection with 21 ports (FTP) (direct connection recommended)
- CD device or fast direct connection for software installation
Subscription
In order to subscribe for the Solo electronic banking software, please conclude the agreement with the tellers in our bank offices or service centres. We will order your security codes from Finland in accordance with the agreement. This might take up to two weeks. Once the codes have been delivered to Nordea Bank Estonia Branch, we will contact you and agree on the time of the Solo installation.

Solo download
The initial installation of the Solo program requires entering important parameters and security codes. Therefore, the program will be installed, as a rule, by our bank staff.
You will need the Solo installation files:
- if you have already installed Solo in your computer but malfunctions occur in the program;
- if you plan to replace your computer or its operating system; or
- if you wish to add a new network workstation with the Solo electronic banking software;
Note! You will need the corporate customer identity number to access the Solo installation files.
