If you lose your card

It is safe to use the card

Transactions via bank cards make your life simpler and safer. Money on your account is protected by your personal PIN-code, which you receive with the bank card and is basically your electronic signature. You have to present your personal identification document when paying with the card in shops and service centres.

If you happen to loose the card, please contact immediately the 24-hours phone service at +372 6711 444, in order to close the card and avoid its further use.

If the credit card is lost or stolen while travelling abroad, an emergency replacement card can be ordered from the MasterCard Emergency Services. This card can be used until the card owner returns to Estonia.

Before travelling abroad, please check the MasterCard web page for the telephone number of the Emergency Services in the target country in order to be able to quickly contact the Emergency Services, if the card is lost. In order to get the emergency replacement card you must submit an application to the Emergency Services.

An emergency replacement card will be issued if the lost or stolen credit card had an unused limit of at least 350 EUR (5476.31 EEK). In this case, the limit of the emergency replacement card is the free limit of the lost credit card. The emergency replacement card has no PIN code and cannot thus be used in ATMs. Instead of the emergency replacement card you can also receive cash in the amount of the unused limit of the credit card, if the unused limit is at least 200 EUR (3129.32 EEK).
