User ID and codes

Take care that your codes remain private. Never give your code to anyone on the phone. Many hackers have simply made a phone call and asked for codes based on some excuse - and also received them. When you are entering your code, check that no-one can see it. Do not write your codes on a piece of paper, which you carry on you. You may need to write your codes down in case you forget them, but always keep the information in a safe place, for example in a safe deposit box or a safe.

My User ID and code do not match. What should I do?

If you enter your user ID or code from the code card incorrectly, an error message will be displayed: “Authentication failed”. If you enter the code incorrectly three consecutive times, the account will be blocked and an error message will be displayed: “Login failed (client locked).” To have the block lifted, please contact the nearest Nordea bank office or service outlet. After your identity is established in the bank office or the service centre, your account will be reactivated.

If you lose your Netbank codes

If your Internet Bank codes are lost or stolen, please notify Nordea Customer Service immediately:

Private customers 1772 (local network or mobile call charge)

Corporate customers 1773 (local network or mobile call charge)

From abroad + 372 6283 300
(price of an international call)

The user is authorised to demand from the bank the blocking of the Netbank service at any time. An operator will answer the phone on workdays between 8:00 and 20:00 and on Saturdays from 10.00 to 17.00. You can leave a message on the answering machine at other times. Messages left on the answering machine will be reviewed every workday morning.
