Senior customer

Nordea’s customer programme has been developed keeping in mind our senior customers. Once you turn 60, it will be much easier for you to become a Silver or Gold customer.

Nordea’s customer programme has been developed keeping in mind our senior customers.  Most daily banking transaction in the private customer package are free of charge for customers over 60 years of age. In addition, becoming a Silver or Gold customer is much simpler for senior customers.

All you need to do to receive the benefits is meet the requirements set for the total sum of savings and investment products and the number of banking, lease, pension and/or insurance products you use.

If you are already in our customer programme, we will keep track of your age and how actively you use Nordea’s services and inform you when your customer level is upgraded.

All you need to do as a senior customer to receive the benefits of the Silver or Gold customer levels is meet the requirements set for the total sum of savings and investment products and the number banking, lease, pension and/or insurance products you use.

In order to be awarded the Silver customer status as a senior customer at Nordea, you must meet the following requirements:

  • You have at least one current account at Nordea;
  • You use at least one banking, lease, pension and/or insurance product;
  • Your total savings and/or investments exceed 2,000 euros.

For example, you meet the requirements for the number of used banking services and volume of assets if you have 1,000 euros on your bank account and you have concluded a term deposit agreement in the sum of 1,000 euros.

In order to be awarded the Gold customer status as a senior customer at Nordea, you must meet the following requirements:

  • You have at least one current account in Nordea;
  • You use at least two other banking, lease, pension and/or insurance products;
  • Your total savings and/or investments exceed 5,000 euros.

For example, you meet the requirements for the number of used banking services and volume of assets set for Gold customers if you have 1,000 euros on your bank account, you use your Nordea Maestro card to make your daily purchases and you have concluded a term deposit agreement in the sum of 4,000 euros.

Once you become a Gold customer, you will have access to our advisors who will help you organise your finances even better.

If you are already in our customer programme, we will keep track of your age and how actively you use Nordea’s services and inform you when your customer level is upgraded.

It is much easier to be upgraded to the Silver and Gold customer statuses as a senior customer. All you need to do to get the benefits is meet the requirements set for the savings and investment products and use at least one other bank service on the Silver level and at least two other bank services on the Gold level.

Reassignment from one customer level to another takes place automatically and is based on how actively you and your family use Nordea’s services.

Upgrading to the Silver or Gold customer level
Your customer status will be upgraded if you meet the requirements for the higher level for two consecutive months.

Downgrading to the Silver or Bronze customer level
Your customer status is downgraded if you fail to meet the requirements for your current customer level for six consecutive months.

In determining the total volume of saving and investment products, the Nordea customer programme proceeds from:

  • the settlement account average monthly balance
  • the investment account average monthly balance
  • the average monthly balance of the term deposit, target deposit and child`s deposit
  • the reserve deposit average monthly balance
  • the end-of-month value of Nordea investment funds` shares in market prices
  • the end-of-month net value of Nordea III pillar supplementary pension fund shares
  • the end-of-month value of single instruments (shares, investment funds)
  • the end-of-month balance of indexed bonds

  • Online and/or telephone bank
  • Debit card
  • Credit card
  • Standing payment order
  • E-invoice standing payment order

In saving, investment and pension:

  • Term deposit
  • Target deposit
  • Child`s deposit
  • Reserve deposit
  • Nordea investment funds` shares
  • Indexed bonds
  • Nordea Pensions Estonia III pillar supplementary pension fund shares
  • Single instruments (shares, investment fund shares)

In loan and leasing:

  • Housing loan
  • Reserve loan
  • Renovation loan
  • Idea loan
  • Consumer loan
  • Education loan
  • State-guaranteed study loan
  • Overdraft
  • Nordea Finance Estonia car leasing

In insurance:

  • Nordea home insurance
  • Nordea loan insurance
